Faith in Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of Christianity. Our faith is not about self-confidence, a positive attitude, or mere words. It’s about Jesus. Walking by faith means trusting Him, the Son of God, fully and completely.

Believe in Jesus: The Foundation of Faith

In John 6:28-29, the disciples asked Jesus how to do the works of God. His response was simple: “Believe in the one He has sent.” Faith in Jesus is the key to experiencing God’s power and working for His glory. Without this belief, our actions lack true spiritual significance.

Jesus is central to our faith, not just as a prophet or teacher but as the Son of the Living God. In Matthew 16:13-17, Peter declared Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus affirmed this revelation as the foundation of His Church. Knowing Jesus personally, not just knowing about Him, shapes the essence of our faith.

Some view Jesus as a myth, a mere moral teacher, or a mystical figure. Others treat Him like a modular figure, picking traits they like and ignoring the rest. But the Bible reveals Jesus as God in the flesh, the Messiah who came to save us.

The way you see Jesus defines your faith. Is He just a historical figure, or is He your Savior and Lord? Faith in the biblical Jesus brings life, purpose, and eternal hope. Believe in Him today and let Him transform your life.
