Bishop David Oyedepo Reveals How I Rebuked Satan After Seeing Myself In A Coffin

Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and general overseer of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), spoke with his congregation during a sermon on Day 11 of the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting how he confronted Satan after seeing himself in a coffin. He claimed that it occurred soon after he had finished a lecture on triumphing over death many years prior.

He claimed that he called the devil “dumb” and informed him that there is no wisdom, guidance, or insight in the afterlife. The demon, he claimed, was scolded by him and told to “clean off,” which he duly did. When he opened his eyes, he realized that the devil had been using the lecture as a means of testing him to see if he was only using grammar.

Bishop Oyedepo stated in the video: “I told you there was a time many years ago when I saw myself in a coffin while I was sleeping and I rebuked the demon from the sleep. You must be stupid, Satan, because there is no wisdom, intelligence, or counsel in the afterlife, I remarked. Nobody stays in the grave after seeing themselves there. Devil you dummy, get out of there. This occurred after I completed a lecture on overcoming death many years ago.
