2023 polls: Who to vote for — Bishop Oyedepo’s Deputy
Dr. David Abioye, Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Church in Goshen City, Abuja, has advised members to vote for the church rather than for any party or individual.
Dr. David Oyedepo, the founder of Winners Chapel, is regarded as the number two in the hierarchy.
Abioye, who was in charge of the church in Kaduna, Kaduna State, for a long time, spoke during one of the services at Goshen City.
“A clear instruction,” he said.
“When it is time to vote, vote only in the favour of your church and not your party.
“Any believer that sells out his faith to any party is heading for hell.
“Do not vote for people who will kill you.
“If you kill your conscience, you will have to answer to the Lord.
“We may not have the best candidates, but we have them in grades,” says the manager.
“You are familiar with a better candidate than an evil candidate.
“Christians were killed and no apologies by people who are in authority and you will still blindly go and vote for them.
“Churches were destroyed, and no one bothered to rebuild them or vote for them.
“Hear me out, even if the people who are there answer the name of a Christian, turn them off.”
