Jesus came in the form of Moses, and we have come in the form of Jesus, according to Bishop Oyedepo.

Bishop David Oyedepo highlighted during the Covenant Hour of Prayer meeting how we are here on earth as a symbol of Jesus. He said that the only way to reach this level is to engage in prayer and fasting.

He explained that one advantage of fasting and prayer is a shift in spiritual level. He demonstrated how Moses was transfigured after spending so much time with God, and how Jesus experienced the same thing.

“We saw Moses transfigured, and they had to cover his face with a veil. Moses stated a prophet should God send after myself, him shall ye hear in whatsoever he shall tell thee. Jesus is his name. And we saw him in Luke 9 when he was transfigured while praying. Change in spiritual power from the prayer altar, “He stated.

He then revealed that God sent Jesus in the same way that Jesus sent us. That’s how he arrived to the idea that we’re here as a kind of Jesus.

“As the Father has sent me, so I send you, Jesus replied. On the altar of prayer, we have the right to be transfigured. We are here as a sort of Jesus, just as Jesus came as a kind of Moses “He stated.

He stated that being transfigured gives you command of things, which is far superior to receiving things from God.

“Getting things from God is amazing, but having charge of them is much better,” he remarked.
