A cleric warns youths about electoral violence.

Prophet Samuel Olu-Alo, a renowned cleric, has warned Nigerian youths against being used as political thugs in the upcoming general election.

Olu-Alo, the planter of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, believes that youths should be aware that they, too, have the potential to hold top political positions in the future.

He spoke in Akure, Ondo State, at the ministry’s 9th crusade and empowerment program for 700 widows and the elderly, who were given food and cash.

“Any youth ready to present himself as a political thug will be stabbing his or her future with a sword,” the man of God said. Who said you couldn’t be a governor or a senator in the future?

“The majority of these top politicians have children and families living abroad. Whatever you do wrong today, people will remember it when you run for public office tomorrow.

“This is the reason why many don’t attain top positions today, their today is calling for revenge of their past wrong deeds, so don’t allow your future to be destroyed by politicians.

“If people can serve me who never went to school, you too can be served. You can achieve great things in life even if you are an orphan. “My story uplifts and inspires.”

Olu-Alo, who urged Nigerians to increase their prayers for the country, predicted that something will happen between this year and the next.

He urged people not to vote based on emotion and to avoid vote trading, and instead to vote according to their conscience.

“Just go out on election day, if it holds, vote for your conscience, not in anger and sentiment,” he said. Whatever you voted for, you will receive within the next four years.”

“You will not be sorry for your actions because they come from your mind rather than being forced upon you. This is because something will occur between now and the next four years.

“If you say Igbo, Hausa, or Yoruba, that’s fine. Just make sure it comes from your mind and that you are not voting out of rage, envy, religious, cultural, or ethnic sentiment.”

The prophet, who recently founded Adamimogo Football Club and Adamimogo 93.1 FM, has revealed that the Adamimogo Group of Schools will begin operations this year in Jesus City, Lagos.
