According to Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, a new Nigeria will arise following the 2023 elections. The clergyman claimed that the nation would change as a result of the ongoing fasting and prayer for fair and trustworthy elections. The populist clergy prayed that the nation would not “experience war” in the event that a conflict did break out.

Watch out, a new Nigeria is emerging, he warned. The majority of Nigerians think that changing their country is impossible. including members of the Church and pastors. They merely think that it is over. God could not have chosen three days of fasting and prayer to be devoted to this emergency. God is not a time waster. God despises waste. Thus, a change in this country must result from these three days. Nigeria will develop in the future. In our lifetimes, Nigeria’s history will change, and this prayer meeting taking place right now will play a significant role in defining that change.
