Being afraid is one of the most effective ways the enemy counters and slows us down. Up to a certain point it can freeze individuals and keep them stagnant in life. But as Christians, we must remember: fear is not our master—faith

Do It Afraid-FULL SERMON | Joyce Meyer

### 1. Fear is a Normal Feeling

– God does not assure us that we will not experience such as fear. He says for us to; not to fear. This means we will feel fear, but we don’t have to live it as our primary way of being in the world.

### 2. **Leaving the comfort zone does not mean courage is the absence of fear.

The research on courage therefore defines it as action or decision making when one feels the opposite of it. From the second view, it is about believing in God’s promise to be with us. What once was a defensive phrase I will not fear now, turns into a statement of faith in God.

### 3. Faith Takes Action

– In Hebrews 11:6 we are all under the law of faith which tells us that anyone who does not have faith cannot please God.

Superstition is not mere belief in the existence of the supernatural; it is the belief that the supernatural is capable of doing something favorable for you. Fear is a threat to faith and therefore faith motivates us to go forward despite the threats posed by fear.

### 4. Do It Afraid

It is okay to “do it afraid.” All though the woman in the story had fears she did something despite fear. God does not always take fear out of our lives but teaches us how to face the fear.

### 5. God’s Plan for You

– God has a good plan for your life (John 10:10). The enemy desires to rob, kill, and destroy and God’s plan is for you to have life and have it more abundantly. Have faith in God and wait for His time while doing things that make sense. He is with you.

### 6. God Has Given You Faith

– Romans 12:3 since the activity of saying that the measure of faith has been given to each of us by God. The amount of faith you need is already provided for you to be able to do what God wants you to do. The more faith you put in Him the stronger your faith is.

### Conclusion

Don’t let fear come into your life without fighting it with faith. Let it be noted then that courage is an action that is taken with fear. You must remember that in His plan for your life, He is always with you. Whether the instance in your life is big or small or different from the one above, just do it afraid and you will find God in that situation.
