Pastor EA Adeboye shared powerful insights during his live ministration at Dr. Uma Ukpai’s 80th birthday celebration in Uyo, Akwa Ibom. He recalled his first encounter with Dr. Ukpai over 40 years ago and how Dr. Ukpai’s example shaped his life.

Pastor Adeboye learned a vital lesson: if you want God to move, you must worship Him. Worship invites God’s presence into your life and your situation.

He also shared a personal testimony. Despite facing the tragic loss of his son, Pastor Adeboye remained faithful. He drew strength from Dr. Ukpai, who had endured similar losses without wavering. “To serve God,” Pastor Adeboye said, “you must be ready to serve Him in both good times and bad.”

God, the “Most High,” has a secret place where He protects His own. Psalm 91 promises that those who dwell in God’s secret place are safe under His shadow. This shadow symbolizes God’s protection and care. He is our refuge, our strength, and our protector in times of trouble.

In every challenge, we must turn to Jesus. As Pastor Adeboye emphasized, Jesus is the Almighty who can handle all things. No problem is too big for Him. He has the power to change impossible situations.

As we celebrate Dr. Ukpai’s life and legacy, let us remember that we too have a call to serve God faithfully. When we trust in Jesus, He will guide us through every storm. Just as the Psalmist said, “With long life, He will satisfy us.”
