PASTOR MICHAEL ANU OJO | 1ST SESSION | WOFBEC 2025 | 9TH JAN 2025

In Leviticus 6:12-13, God tells us, “The fire must be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not go out.” This instruction was not just for the priests but for every believer today. The fire represents God’s presence and power in our lives. We must protect it, nurture it, and ensure it never fades.
The Fire Must Not Go Out
The fire of God’s presence should burn brightly in our hearts. Just like the priests in the Old Testament, we are called to maintain this fire. Every morning, they added firewood to keep the flame alive. Similarly, we must continue to feed our spiritual lives with prayer, worship, and the Word of God.
If you want to move forward in life, your fire must stay lit. When you lose your fire, you lose your direction. Think about an airplane that ascends but doesn’t move forward. It will stay stuck in the sky. Likewise, in life, it’s not enough to just rise; you must keep moving forward with God’s fire in your heart.
Prayer is the key to keeping the fire burning. You can pray and declare, “Lord, let Your fire never go out in my life.” The fire of the Holy Spirit ignites our passion for God and keeps us on the right path.
Remember, the fire of God doesn’t depend on your strength. It’s His power. Keep adding fuel—prayer, worship, obedience. With His fire, you will fulfill your purpose. Keep the fire burning, and you will experience God’s glory.
