Informants were killed during an assassination attempt on me, according to Apostle Johnson Suleiman.

Apostle Johnson Suleiman, an outspoken cleric, has revealed that insiders who conspired with others to assassinate him were among those killed when gunmen opened fire on his convoy last October.

Suleiman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, claims the gunmen killed the alleged informants before realizing what they had done.

On October 21, 2022, gunmen suspected of being assassins attacked Suleiman’s convoy in Warrake, near Auchi, Edo state.

During the attack, seven people were killed, including three police officers.

In a video posted on his Facebook page, the cleric made the claim.

The video showed him addressing worshippers at the Church 2023 crusade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA).

Suleiman also stated in the video that he drove himself that day and knocked down one gunman, who was later apprehended and killed by police.

“I have seen death face to face when the Lord helped us survive the assassination attempt,” he says. Insiders were among those who were killed. They were included in the plan.

“But it was not the plan for them to be where they were. So they had squandered them before realizing they had squandered their own people. I hit the young man who was later killed by police with my car.

“I was driving, and he came up behind me with a gun… I told myself he was gone. They turned off the engine to bring the car to a halt. The car continued to move. The car engine knocked as soon as I got home to park. The gunmen were nine hired and imported snipers.”
