Nigerians will survive naira scarcity just as they did the coronavirus, according to Mike Bamiloye.

Mike Bamiloye, founder of Mount Zion Ministries, has declared that Nigerians will survive the current cash crisis just as they did the coronavirus.
On Saturday, the 62-year-old evangelist and filmmaker made the announcement via Instagram.
He referred to the difficulties brought about by the redesign of the N200, N500, and N1000 notes as the koworona (money scarcity) virus.
“A long time ago! Coronavirus struck, and it struck hard!
“This koworona virus has come upon us, and it will pass!”
“We will also survive this virus!” We will not be consumed by it! It will take place!” Bamiloye, Mike wrote.
There have been violent protests across the country in response to the withdrawal of old naira notes and the non-availability of new ones.
ATMs and banks have been targeted in states such as Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Delta, and Edo.
In response to mounting public outrage, President Muhammadu Buhari declared on Thursday that the old N200 notes would remain legal tender until April 10.
The president stated that the old N200 notes will coexist with the new N200 notes.
He did not, however, permit the continued use of the old N500 and N1,000 notes.
